Florida Holiday 10K

Directions to 10K Start Line

On Pinellas Trail next to:
Seminole City Park

We strongly encourage athletes to be dropped off at Seminole City Park before the race starts since there is NO PARKING at the 10K start line.

10K Parking & Shuttle Bus 

Free parking will be available at TAYLOR PARK with free shuttle buses to take you to the start line at Seminole City Park for a start at 7:35.

Buses leave at 6:30, 6:40, 6:50, and 7:00 from TAYLOR PARK to the 10K start line at Seminole City Park BEFORE the race. Taylor Park is located at 1100 8th Ave SW, Largo 33770. Taylor Park gates open at 6:00 a.m.

Course Highlights

  • The course is predominantly on the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail, the longest “rails-to-trails” linear park in the country.
  • Lakeside Taylor Park is a beautiful setting to finish the Florida Holiday 10K.

10K Course Time Limits

Because the Holiday 10K takes place in conjunction with and on the same course as the Holiday Halfathon, there is no time limit for the 10K.

Packet Pickup

There will not be a packet pickup at the 10K start at Seminole City Park. Both 10K and Half packet pickups are at Madeira Beach City Hall.  See packet pickup schedule.

No Strollers, Bicycles, or Dogs

All our races are sanctioned and insured through USATF for runners, joggers, and walkers ONLY. Runners and walkers are NOT permitted to bring dogs, strollers, skateboards, or bicycles during our races. Athletes should be aware that recreational trails used for a part of our courses are open to the public, and athletes should use EXTREME CAUTION at all times.

USATF Certification

Both half marathon and 10K courses have been precisely measured, and documentation provided according to USATF requirements, certifying our courses as accurately measured.

Timing

All official results will be based on “Chip Time.” Results will be posted soon after the race.

Replenish with your choice of hot pasta & meatballs, snacks, cold beer and beverages, and live music.
